Artefact Help
What the Artefact platform is, and where to go for each tool.
Artefact Group builds the tools our own production and events teams use every day, then makes them good enough to hand to clients too. This site is the plain-English guide to what each one does and how to use it — written for producers and event managers, not developers.
These pages are written by the people who build the tools, and they live in the same repository as the code — so keeping them honest is part of shipping, not a job someone gets to later. The list of what's changed is built from the project's own history every time the site is published, so it can't quietly fall behind.
New to all of this? Start with Getting started — it covers how to sign in and what "access" means before you touch any of the tools below. Curious what's changed recently? See What we've shipped for a running list, pulled straight from the project history.
The tools
Getting started
How to sign in, what app access means, and who to ask for help.
Contact and support
Where to send a support request or a new enquiry, no sign-in needed, and why your client ID gets you a faster answer.
Tools launcher
Where you land after signing in. It lists everything Artefact runs, marks what is switched on for you, and lets you ask for the rest.
Client desk
One page that gathers your works, bookings, documents, links, posts and the work we have in progress for you.
SceneSync
Schedule and publish social posts, with a shared calendar and an approval flow.
Artefact Links
Short links, tracked campaign sets, and a link-in-bio page for your handle. Being retired — see the notice below.
Critique
Pin comments on a design, work through them to sign-off, and export the feedback.
Shelf
Track your gear, book it for jobs, label it so it comes back.
Admin dashboard
Onboard companies, grant app access and tiers, and manage users — for Artefact staff and company admins.
File Transfer
SFTP and FTPS for large files and camera uploads — a separate login from the rest of the platform.
